🎉 Celebrating Pastor Brian Manucduc — A Birthday Tribute 🎉
A Son. A Shepherd. A Joy to Our Hearts.

A Life That Began With Promise

Born on New Year’s Day, you arrived as a quiet prophecy—
a fresh beginning wrapped in innocence,
a child whose life would one day echo with purpose.

Even as a little boy, your spirit carried a boldness beyond your years.
I still see you—four or five years old—
walking toward the church stage with fearless steps,
tiny hands ready to play the drums as if you already knew
that worship would one day become your language.

That early spark grew into a calling.
A professional musician saw what we already knew—
that your rhythm was more than talent;
it was devotion, discipline, and joy woven together.
Anyone who has heard Run With Perseverance
has heard your heart beating through every note.

A Moment Forever Etched in My Heart

I will never forget that evening when you delivered your valedictory speech.
We sat there as your family—proud, grateful, overwhelmed—
watching you speak with clarity, confidence, and grace.

But my pride grew even deeper when the ceremony ended.
You led the graduates forward,
then turned around and gently invited the entire auditorium
to join you in singing “This Little Light of Mine.”
The whole room lifted their voices,
and in that moment, your light truly shone.

At the Care for Seniors campus where I serve as chaplain,
they know this is one of my favorite hymns.
Hearing you lead it that night felt like a gift from God—
a father’s joy wrapped in a son’s obedience and courage.

A Man of Many Roads

Your love for driving and cars has always made me smile.
It fits you—
a man who studies the journey,
honors the details,
and carries joy quietly, like a middle name
that follows you even when you choose not to speak it.

Whether behind the wheel or behind the drum set,
you move with purpose,
steady and sure.

A Shepherd After God’s Heart

Today, at Austin Heights Church,
you guide an intercultural, multi-generational family of believers
with humility, gentleness, and unwavering devotion.

Watching you preach the Word—
hearing the conviction in your voice,
seeing the compassion in your eyes—
is one of the greatest joys of my life.

And though you are now a young man of wisdom,
you still come to your mother and me for counsel.
Those father-son mentoring moments
are treasures I hold close,
reminders that leadership and humility
can indeed walk hand in hand.

A Marriage Strengthened by Fire

Your journey with Sarah is a testimony
written not in ease,
but in endurance.

Before your wedding, storms rose unexpectedly—
the kind that could shake any young couple.
But instead of breaking,
you both bent toward God.
You witnessed His healing power firsthand—
a faith that even cancer could not silence.

Today, your marriage shines with grace,
resilience, and a love that has been tested
and found faithful.

A Father’s Prayer for the Year Ahead

As you step into another year of life and calling,
this is my prayer:

  • May the Lord renew your strength each morning
  • May joy accompany every act of service
  • May wisdom guard every decision
  • May God’s peace surround your home and ministry
  • May your territory expand, your compassion deepen,
and the fruit of your calling multiply

Happy Birthday and Happy New Year, Pastor Brian!

Your life is a melody of grace,
your journey a testimony of perseverance,
your ministry a gift to all who know you.

And yes—your middle name truly suits you.
Joy follows you, Brian,
because you carry it well.

With love, pride, and unending prayers,
Papa and Mama
