🌱 A Prayer for Guidance and Courage

God of hope and wisdom,

We pray for those just beginning their journey.
We pray for young hearts full of dreams and doubts,
and for minds full of questions about the future.

Young people face pressures we do not always understand.
They feel worried in ways we did not feel at their age.
They live in a world that is very complicated and always connected.

Give them wisdom beyond their years.
Give them courage to make mistakes and try again.
Give them the ability to discern which voices to listen to and which to ignore.
Give them patience with themselves as they learn.

Protect them from the need to compare themselves to others.
Help them remember that making a mistake does not mean they are a failure.
Remind them that they have plenty of time
and do not need to know all the answers right now.

Connect them with elders who will guide them.
Connect them with friends who will walk with them.
Connect them with the strength already inside them.

May they find a community that will support them.
May they learn from those who lived before them.
May they trust that they are valuable a
nd have what it takes to succeed.

You are with them.
You believe in them.
You have good plans for them.
