Resting in God’s Rhythm
Wisdom Nugget:
Resting in God doesn’t stop growth—it allows Him to shape us.

Scripture:
“In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.” — Isaiah 30:15 (ESV)
Chaplain’s Whisper:
I’ve noticed that some of our seniors embrace rest as a sacred practice—they sit quietly, watch the morning sun, or reflect on life’s blessings. One shared, “These quiet moments with Him restore me.” Rest is not laziness or idleness; it is the fertile soil where God shapes, restores, and strengthens. Even in stillness, God is working.
Wisdom Prompt:
How can I make space this week to rest in God—not to escape, but to be renewed?
Weekend Blessing: A Prayer of Overflowing Grace
Heavenly Father, as we enter this weekend, let Your grace wrap around every heart and every home. May Your mercies continue to rise over us like the dawn—quiet, steady, and unstoppable. Where there is weariness, bring rest. Where there is uncertainty, bring peace. Where there is longing, bring Your presence.
Lord, let the coming days be filled not with striving, but with sacred awareness of Your nearness. May we wake each morning with gratitude, walk through each day with trust, and rest each night in Your unfailing love.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
