🌸 Spring Renewal 🌸
What to Let Go in This Season
The Story of Lily
Lily had spent years tending to a garden that was no longer her own. She carried the heavy stones of other people’s expectations, watered the seeds of old guilt, and fenced in her heart with “should-haves” and “must-dos.” Each spring, she watched the world bloom around her while she felt weighed down by the debris of seasons long past.
One morning, she realized that to grow anything new, she first had to clear the ground. As she let go, her hands became empty—not of value, but of burden. For the first time in years, she had the space to plant something that truly belonged to her and to God.
Spring is about letting dead things fall away.
Reflect on what you’re carrying. God can handle your truth.

What commitments are draining you? What have you outgrown?
2. Unhealthy Relationships
Which relationships are one-sided or draining?
3. Others’ Expectations
What are you carrying that isn’t actually yours?
4. Guilt That Isn’t Productive
What false guilt are you carrying?
5. Physical Clutter
What physical items are weighing down your spirit?
6. Unprocessed Grief
What loss haven’t you allowed yourself to feel?
7. The Need to Control
What are you trying to control that belongs to God?
8. Unrealistic Self-Expectations
What impossible version of yourself are you trying to be?

Choose ONE thing you’ll let go of this month:
A Prayer for Letting Go
Lord, I’m holding on to so much I wasn’t meant to carry. Give me courage to let go. Give me clarity about what needs to be released. I trust You with the empty space. Fill it with what You want for me. Amen.
